World Health Organisation: Czechs are the most obese in Europe

This may come at a surprise to some, especially when it was originally believed that the UK was one of the growing trends of obese people in the world. However it was recently reported today on a variety of news hub websites that Obese men (which are the ones that typically see a body mass index exceeding over 30 over twenty account for as much as 32.6% of the total Czech population and women up to 32.7% – a shocking and surprising statistics which have left many jaws wide open.

The Republic of Czech is renowned for it’s beer and the consumption of beer is typically greater compared to many other European countries. However, this isn’t the underlying cause of the issue, but more to do with the fact of the ever increasing sedentry lifestyle that the Czechs are growing into with the upcoming revolution in technology and services to other european countries.
