Things That Harm a Male’s Fertility
The list of things which seem capable of harming a man’s sperm is ever increasing; some of the recent additions include sunscreen, soap and toothpaste. Another proven chemical to affect sperm count and motility is Bisphenol A (BPA), which is used in most canned food packaging, and seeps into the food as well. The point is, is that many household items which men use regularly, and are encouraged to use, have chemicals which are proven to affect the way sperm swims, so it’s little wonder that up to fifty percent of couples trying to have kids are having difficulty. The fact of the matter is that with all of these impediments to fertility, being affected in some way by the environment is unavoidable.
You can usually find safe alternatives to the damaging brands, usually by looking for a natural option. This will mean that you’ll have to spend more money, but at least with natural products you can be sure they don’t contain anything, proven or otherwise, that could affect your health negatively.
